The Internet is freaking out over videos Kylie Jenner posted of her daughter Stormi’s first time snowboarding. The trendy toddler looks like an absolute pro in the clip, as she’s pulled along a bunny slope, decked out in her snow gear.
Little Stormi is quickly shaping up to be the coolest of the Kardashian grandkids, taking after her trendsetting mom and hipster dad Travis Scott. Kylie went on a snowy vacay recently and brought along her adorable daughter. The 22-year-old mom was decked out in a fitted snowsuit adorned with fringe and accessorized with starry gloves and white boots. She dressed up her mini-me in a matching white snowsuit with a black fur collar, black boots, and matching black helmet and gloves. What’s a 22-month-old to do once she’s out in the snow? Catch some air, of course. In a video posted to Kylie’s Instagram page, she shows her daughter being pulled along a flat, snowy surface, while strapped into a snowboard. A second clip has Stormi gliding along the bunny slope unassisted, until she is scooped up by someone waiting for her at the end of her run. What makes the video so incredible (and popular) is Stormi’s absolute calm and perfect form on the board.
Kylie and sister Kendall have spoken openly on Keeping Up With the Kardashians about their love of the slopes. Both are avid snowboarders themselves. Kylie has taken to motherhood the way Stormi has taken to the slopes: she’s all in. The mogul recently admitted that she’s thrilled to celebrate all of her daughter’s milestones. “Starting to plan Stormi’s 2nd bday .. it’s gonna be insane i can’t wait,” Jenner wrote on Twitter.
Teaching Stormi to snowboard at an early age is also likely to have long-lasting effects. Children are able to retain knowledge at an incredible rate during this time in their development. Tiger Woods was just two when he started playing golf. Mozart was four-years-old when he made his orchestral debut. Even Olympic swimming phenom Michael Phelps got an early start at age seven in his field of endeavor. Impressively, Stormi has yet to reach her second year on this earth and is already crushing it like a boss.
It’s really funny watching Kylie Jenner’s life unfold on her various social media channels. She’s proven herself to be a traditional mom with unconventional undertones. Little Stormi will always be able to look back and see fun photos of herself at family outings and hanging out with her cousins. However, those memories will be anything but ordinary. Stormi will also be an exceptional young lady. With a father who is at the top of his game in the music industry, as well as a mother who slays in business and pop culture, this kid comes from one heck of a gene pool. As she gets older, her adventures will get more and more impressive. Who knows… maybe Stormi is the next Chloe Kim.
