Previous contestant of Dancing with the Stars, Lamar Odom, revealed via Instagram that he is engaged to his girlfriend Sabrina Parr. The two are preparing for marriage after just three months of dating.
The 39-year-old former Los Angeles Lakers player was previously linked to Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ Khloé Kardashian. The two were married for seven years. From his previous relationship with Liza Morales, he has two children - Destiny, 21, and Lamar Jr., 17, - who cheered him on from the Dancing with the Stars audience. He danced with partner Peta Murgatroyd and after scoring 20 out of 40 for their Viennese Waltz, they were eliminated from the competition. After the competition, Lamar gushed about his new girlfriend, Sabrina, for being there and supporting him throughout the competition. Sabrina, a professional health and life coach, is helping Lamar become healthier in all parts of his life.
After Lamar made their relationship Instagram official back on August 2nd, the pair wasted no time moving forward in their relationship. Lamar went to Instagram again this Monday, this time to announce his engagement to Sabrina. The pair pose together in the photo inside of the Prime 112 Restaurant in Miami. Sabrina is seen in the photo resting her left hand on Lamar’s chest, showing off the beautiful and large engagement ring. The engagement comes just days Lamar’s 40th birthday. Lamar captioned the engagement photo, writing, “Introducing my new fiancée!! Soon to be Mrs. Parr-Odom.” Lamar gushed over his soon-to-be bride, writing, “She the ONE!!!!!” 32-year-old Sabrina went to her Instagram to share her happy news with plenty of pictures showing off her massive pear-cut diamond ring. “I SAID YES!!!!” It was also revealed back in Septemeber that the two may be already filming for their own reality TV show. Fans can remember that Lamar previously had his own reality TV show when he was married to Khloé Kardashian, titled, Khloé & Lamar. The title of the reality show staring Lamar and Sabrina has not been revealed yet, but they confirmed that they are filming for it.
There is a high chance that since they began filming while they were dating, that the engagement would have also been filmed. Fans may be able to watch their first season and see how their sizzling romance became an engagement in a matter of three months. It’s been a wild year for Lamar - being a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, releasing his tell-all memoir Darkness to Light, filming his own reality TV show, to getting engaged to Sabrina. It seems that there are only good things ahead for Lamar and his new fiancée.
