Many are experiencing a problem such as launching Origin Client on a Laptop or PC, the software freezes, and only restart fixes. So in this guide, we will share how we can solve the laptop freezing issue while we use the Origin client app.

Developed by Electronic Arts, Origin is a digital video game distribution platform. It acts extremely similar to Steam, their biggest competitor, for purchasing and playing video games. Just like Valve’s Steam, Origin as well contains social features, streaming via Twitch, and options to share the user’s game library. In Origin’s attempt to make their service match to those of Steam’s, EA brought in cloud game saves, auto-patching, achievements, and cross-platform releases in 2011.

As through the evolution of Origin, they too took part in bugging the users with errors. One such problem is how the application freezes on launching it. Thankfully, the developers themselves came into the forums by confirming the most effective solution to counter the issue. So today, we’ll be guiding you through the steps that’ll take to eliminate freezing issues of Origin. Without further ado, let’s discuss how to fix the launching freezing problem in Origin client on PC or Laptop.
