OnePlus is one of the only few Android smartphone manufactures to offer 3 years of software updates for its devices. Some vendors fail to provide even 2 major Android OS upgrades. Thus the lack of updates still remains one of the biggest disadvantages of owning an Android phone.

Nonetheless, OnePlus users enjoy longer software support. And the company is almost done releasing the Android 10 update to all supported devices. Along with the Android 10 update, the company has also released OxygenOS 10. This new skin over Android brings a boatload of features and improvements on OnePlus devices.

Moreover, OxygenOS is considered to be one of the best Android skins and is also arguably better than stock Android. The stock-ish appearance of the skin paired with the addition of useful features makes it a crowd favorite. In this post, we will take a look at all the OnePlus Android 10 supported devices. Additionally, we will also check out some features that are now available with OxygenOS 10.

OxygenOS 10 Overview and Features

OxygenOS has evolved a lot over the years and the company has almost perfected the skin. With the release of Android 10, the company brought over all the new features that come with the update and added a few useful ones too.

First off, users now have the option to tweak the appearance of the UI according to their preference. Previously, users did have some customization options in OxygenOS. However, these options were limited and did serve the purpose of customization enthusiasts. With OxygenOS 10, users can customize the lockscreen, fingerprint animation, certain parts of the system UI, switch themes and more.

Another useful privacy feature is advanced privacy management. This isn’t exclusive to OxygenOS and is native to Android 10. Nonetheless, it offers users granular controls over which apps can access the location or camera or any other system function. You can now choose from “always allow”, “allow while using the app”, or “forbid”. Hence, you can turn off certain permissions when the app is not being used.

The Android 10 navigation gestures have also been slightly tweaked in OxygenOS 10. And it does offer a slightly better experience than stock Android. Moreover, users also have the option to select the navigation gestures from Android 9 Pie if they prefer that.

OxygenOS 10 also brings an improved Game Space. The addition of Fnatic Mode and Graphics Optimization allows players to have a smooth gameplay experience. Users can also check out the total amount of time they spend playing games.

The company has also made it a lot easier to share Wi-Fi passwords with the implementation of OR codes.
